Government representative Rom Tham Khamnurak of the Thai Pride Party announced that five hours would be allocated to debate the Electoral Commission report, divided equally between government and opposition at two-and-a-half hours each, with an additional three-and-a-half hours for the urgent border development motion. Opposition Deputy Leader Pridsadh Vetchasindhul noted that the eight-and-a-half-hour total timeframe was approximate and questioned the necessity of rigid time limits, arguing that debaters should not be rushed if they need extra time and requesting fair allocation across all factions.
Speaker Sophon clarified that his five-hour estimate for the Electoral Commission debate and three-hour estimate for the border motion were approximate figures. He expressed concern about discussions running too long but acknowledged that slight overruns were acceptable if time management discussions could first determine fair allocations to avoid implementation problems. He also noted that time should be reserved for officials presenting reports.
