The Udon Thani World Horticultural Expo 2026 runs from November 1, 2026 to March 14, 2027 at the Nong Da Wetland in Udon Thani Province. It serves as an international stage for exchanging knowledge on horticulture, agriculture, and technology, and is expected to attract millions of Thai and foreign visitors. True has therefore designed network coverage suited to the terrain and user density, from information searching and communication to photo and video uploads and live streaming via social media.
On the mobile network side, True is boosting TRUE 5G and 4G capacity with mobile base stations (Cell on Wheels or COW) and small cells at five locations total, to increase coverage and capacity in key areas: the Public Relations Building, the Cactus Building, the Administration Building, the Greenhouse Building, and the Welcome Building and Food Court area, focusing on supporting data usage during peak visitor periods.
For event operations management, True is providing enterprise internet in operational areas including the Public Relations Building, Administration Building, Welcome Building, and Office Center, to support staff coordination, critical internal systems, and media news transmission, along with True WIFI service at designated points to give the public additional connectivity options.
In addition, True is employing AI to analyze usage patterns, data volume, and network density to allocate capacity according to real-time conditions, with the Business Network Intelligence Center (BNIC) monitoring 24 hours a day, coordinating with on-site engineering teams and closely tracking signal quality, especially during weekends and long holidays.
Alongside signal quality assurance, True is also safeguarding customers' digital security through "True CyberSafe," which uses AI to detect, block, and alert against risks.
