At 3:00 PM on November 3, 2026, at the Central Investigation Bureau headquarters, Num Krittachai, a well-known MC and news anchor, gave an interview regarding his 1 million baht donation to the Doing Good Foundation run by Boom Panadda.

Num Krittachai stated he appeared at the invitation of the Central Investigation Bureau to provide testimony as a witness alongside other entertainment figures such as Phut Aphiwan, Chompoo, and Bella. He submitted bank transfer slips as evidence showing his one-time donation of 1 million baht to the Doing Good Foundation in September 2024, intended for flood victim rehabilitation in the north, likely in Mae Sai district, Chiang Rai. He decided to transfer the money without prior notice or fanfare because he saw northern residents suffering urgently. Besides the Doing Good Foundation, he also donated to Gun Jomplang's personal account for the same cause.

Asked how he would feel if the donated money were misused for personal gain like building a mansion, Num Krittachai acknowledged he would feel disappointed if investigations confirm misuse, since the transfer slip clearly stated "flood rehabilitation contribution." However, he currently feels no regret because no definitive finding of misuse has been announced. He emphasized he does not regret the 1 million baht donation at all, as it was made with a pure heart to help society; anyone who misuses funds must bear responsibility for their own actions.

Regarding tax deductions, Num Krittachai said he never considered requesting a receipt for tax purposes or leveraging the donation for business benefit; his sole intent was to help those in distress.

On his relationship with Boom Panadda, he said they have known each other since childhood and adolescence, so he empathizes and wants to offer encouragement, but hopes everything is discussed truthfully. He noted confusion arising from contradictory statements: Boom's husband Got claimed Boom knew nothing about the Phuket house construction, while the contractor stated Boom knew from the start. This raises questions about who is telling the truth. He urged Got to speak clearly and quickly if there are facts, because delayed explanations may lead to more negative public perception, and truth is the best protection for oneself and family. He called for all foundations nationwide to be transparent by disclosing their income and expenditure accounts clearly.

Reserve Senators Urge EC to Review Vote-Buying Case Referral

Reserve senators have formally petitioned the Election Commission to reverse its 5-2 decision to refer the Senate vote-buying case to the Constitutional Court, alleging the move is a delaying tactic to protect 78 suspects. Led by Senator Akarawut Phongthanachalitkul, the group argues the EC is attempting to strip the Supreme Court's Election Division of its authority to adjudicate the two-year-old corruption case. Akarawut accused the EC of partisan bias and demanded immediate referral of the case files to the Supreme Court.

Prachachat Party leader and MP Pol. Lt. Col. Thawi Sodsong has blamed structural corruption and financial loopholes for Thailand's worsening toxic waste crisis. Citing cases in Prachinburi, Chonburi, and other provinces, he detailed how regulatory failures and nominee systems allow hazardous waste dumping, chemical contamination, and smuggling to persist. Thawi called for legal reforms to return litigation rights to affected communities and criticized a new Ministry of Commerce regulation that further shields intra-group corporate transactions from scrutiny.
