TAT Lights Up Trang With VIJIT Thailand Night Festival
The Tourism Authority of Thailand is hosting the VIJIT Thailand @ Trang night festival from October 2 to 11, 2026 at Queen Sirikit 95th Anniversary Public Park. The event features ten light installations, a drone show with 800 drones, floral fireworks, and performances by popular Thai artists. Admission is free and the festival aims to showcase Trang’s culture and charm after dark.
The Tourism Authority of Thailand invites visitors to experience nighttime tourism at the 'VIJIT Thailand @ Trang' event from October 2 to 11, 2026, at Queen Sirikit 95th Anniversary Public Park in Trang Province. Held under the theme 'Trang Lights Alive: Shining a Light on Culture, Bringing Trang to Life', the event blends art, technology, and local stories through light, sound, and contemporary mixed media, showcasing Trang’s identity and charm across ten light installations, including Magic Island, Beyond Perspectives Lighthouse, Richly Dugong, Live Reflection, The Tourist, Soul of Forest, Mantra Path, Light Bio Floral Garden, Royal Benevolence, and Multi‑Culture Bridge.
Highlights not to miss include a drone show featuring 800 drones forming illuminated patterns over Trang’s sky on October 1, 2, and 10, 2026. Floral fireworks accompanied by traditional long‑tail boat parades will light up the sky and water on October 2, 3, 4, 9, 10, and 11. Live music will be performed by Thai artists such as Waen Yai, Gavin, the Tamamrin band, Goodmood, Songkran, and the Kungpeng band, plus acoustic duo and solo acts throughout the event.
