Village Flooded 50 cm Deep as PM's House Stays Dry
Floodwaters about 50 centimeters deep have inundated part of a village where activist Boss Nawawat Israkrisil lives, while the adjacent area housing Prime Minister Anutin Charnvirakul remains dry. Nawawat accused authorities of neglect, citing unequal drainage and loss of utilities, and urged media and influencers to investigate the disparity. He shared video evidence from October 1, 2026, showing his home submerged and calling for help.
The issue arose when Boss Nawawat Israkrisil posted pictures of floodwater in front of his house, saying he lives in the same village as Prime Minister Anutin Charnvirakul, but the area around the PM's house is completely dry while his own side is inundated and damaged. He said, 'We pay taxes to the government, yet this is the condition of my house. We live in the same village as the Prime Minister; his side stays dry, just a short walk away it's like a sea. I confirm we are in the same village—why is half flooded and half not? We've been cut off from water and electricity, cars submerged, forcing us to move out, despite being in the same village, the difference is like heaven and hell.' On October 1, 2026, he uploaded a clip of himself standing in the flood next to a submerged vehicle, with water higher than half the car's height. Villagers were seen moving belongings, noting that three days ago they decided to abandon their homes; the water has now risen above 50 centimeters. They affirmed they live in the same village and can walk to the PM's house, yet it feels like another world, and invited reporters to see the PM's doorstep to understand why that zone stays dry while theirs resembles a drainage pool for the other side. They asked media or influencers to help, saying they don't want later complaints like those over COVID criticism, stressing that speaking out is a right of citizens affected by the situation and seeking assistance.
