Boss Nawat Says Flood Less Upsetting Than Age Remark
Boss Nawat’s luxury home in the same village as Prime Minister Anutin was flooded with water about 50 cm deep, while the premier’s house stayed dry. He said the flood upset him less than being called too old for curry, and noted he had alerted the village juristic office without result. The Prime Minister responded by questioning why the flood wasn’t reported and criticizing Boss Nawat’s age remark.
Boss Nawat said the flooding of his house is not as upsetting as being called too old for curry, adding that he had informed the village juristic office but it didn’t help, and insisted he never blamed the Prime Minister. In a heated exchange, Boss Nawat Israkrisil posted photos of his luxurious home flooded while staying in the same village as Prime Minister Anutin ‘Noo’ Charnvirakul, whose house remained completely dry, as if worlds apart, and waded through the water to show the contrast. He reiterated that the flood upset him less than the age insult. Meanwhile, Prime Minister Anutin responded, asking why Boss Nawat hadn’t reported the flood to the juristic office and telling him not to act too old for curry, warning not to make mistakes and then ask for forgiveness. Later, Boss Nawat reposted the line “The flood of my house is not as upsetting than being called too old for curry” and added a comment clarifying that he had notified the village juristic office, which was ineffective, and that he never blamed the Prime Minister. He wrote, “The juristic office was informed from the start, but it didn’t work. Saying I never blamed the Prime Minister, but we live in the same area, same village, so I wonder how the office works. I reiterate I never blamed the Prime Minister; he’s busy and likely can’t hear about our issues, and he’s very kind to the Thai people. I’m his fan and don’t want to upset him—please give him support.” Source: Nawat. ‘Like two worlds!’ Boss Nawat challenges proof that his house flood is 50 cm deep while living in the same village as PM Noo.
