Natural Resources and Environment Minister Suthichaichomglin dispatched ministry teams to Prachinburi and Nakhon Nayok after severe flooding, setting up field kitchens to deliver hot meals and clean water to affected residents. The effort involved volunteers, park service catering units, and forestry offices mobilising staff and vehicles to reach isolated communities, while Khao Yai National Park remained temporarily closed due to ongoing rain and landslide risks.
Minister Suthichaichomglin ordered the Natural Resources and Environment Ministry to act quickly, sending Pol. Lt. Gen. Surapon Bunya and Nat Kongkeson to Prachinburi and Nakhon Nayok to oversee flood relief. Teams established field kitchens with help from volunteers and the National Parks' mobile catering units, providing hot meals and clean drinking water to affected communities. Forestry offices mobilised thirty staff with two pickup trucks and a six‑wheel truck to distribute boxed meals, water and dry food across Nakhon Nayok municipality, especially in high‑flood areas unreachable by small vehicles. Meanwhile, Khao Yai National Park remained temporarily closed to tourists due to continuing rain, flash‑flood risks, fallen trees, landslides and rockfalls, to ensure public safety. The minister stressed that the ministry must reach every flooded area, delivering food, water and aid as swiftly as possible.
