Natural Resources and Environment Minister Suchat Chomklin said that, out of concern for those affected by the flooding, he had assigned Police Major General Surapon Bunyama, his secretary, to visit Nakhon Nayok Province on October 11, 2026 to offer encouragement and ease their hardship. During the visit, more than 1,000 food parcels and 10,000 bottles of drinking water were prepared for distribution to residents impacted by the floods, aiming to provide immediate relief and show the government’s ongoing care. The ministry pledged to coordinate assistance so that communities can overcome the crisis together under its “MNRE United, No One Left Behind” policy. It noted that while some parts of Nakhon Nayok are seeing water levels recede, other areas remain high due to water being diverted from Ban Sang District in Prachinburi Province, and urged the public to follow official updates and affirmed its continued readiness to help flood victims.
