Natural Resources Minister Deploys Boats and Field Kitchens for Flood Relief
The Natural Resources Ministry deployed boats and field kitchens to flood-affected areas in Chachoengsao Province, prioritizing rescue operations and aid delivery for vulnerable residents unable to evacuate safely.
On September 28, 2025, Natural Resources and Environment Minister Suchart Chomklin visited an emergency shelter at Phanat Nikhom Municipal Stadium in Chachoengsao Province alongside Anant Preedamsuddichit, Member of Parliament for Chachoengsao District 5, and local government officials to encourage flood-affected residents and closely monitor the situation.
Chomklin instructed all departments under his ministry to mobilize resources and personnel to assist the public, especially bedridden patients, elderly people, and vulnerable groups unable to travel from affected areas. The Department of National Parks, Wildlife and Plant Conservation deployed one mobile field kitchen to prepare and distribute cooked meals to flood victims to ease their suffering and address food needs during the emergency.
Meanwhile, the Department of Marine and Coastal Resources deployed one boat with over 40 personnel to support rescue operations, including transporting bedridden patients, elderly residents, and vulnerable groups to safety, as well as delivering supplies, food, drinking water, and essential items to people in areas difficult to access.
"In a flood situation, the most important thing is safety and rapid assistance to the public, especially those who cannot help themselves," Chomklin said. "I have ordered all departments under my ministry to work proactively, reach affected areas, and help people to the fullest extent. We will leave no one behind."
The minister added that his department will continuously monitor water levels and coordinate with local government, administrative organizations, and relevant agencies to accelerate relief efforts until the situation improves.
