September 28 – At Suvarnabhumi International Airport, Air Force Commander General Anurak Rmanarak held a meeting with Defence Minister General Adul Bundhum to assess problems and discuss ground-level service improvements for passengers following operational difficulties caused by flooding in the area.
Thai Airways staff encountered service and baggage-handling challenges due to the flooding situation. In response, the Royal Thai Air Force deployed 69 personnel from the Aeronautical Engineering Command to work with Thai Airways ground staff and Suvarnabhumi Airport officials.
The Air Force has adjusted its plan to increase the deployment to 100 personnel to accelerate relief efforts and assist passengers, as well as expedite the handling of stranded baggage and cargo. Operations will continue until the flooding situation normalizes.
The Air Force Commander inspected operations at Suvarnabhumi Airport and the Thai Airways cargo warehouse to boost personnel morale and emphasize full commitment to duty. He stressed the mission's critical importance for passenger convenience and maintaining public confidence in tourism and the country's reputation.
