Charity Provides Food Aid to Flood Victims in Bangkok
The Pure Heart Foundation and private sector partners donated food and supplies worth nearly 468,000 baht to support flood victims in Bangkok's Don Muang district through the Baan Pee Yam kitchen.
The Pure Heart Foundation, in partnership with Bai Lee Enterprises and Thai Smile Bus, has mobilized support in Bangkok's Don Muang district for the Baan Pee Yam kitchen, which is preparing meals for flood-affected residents.
On September 28, foundation chair Theerawat Nawatamawat, along with Saranjarit Wang, director of Bai Lee Enterprises, and representatives from Thai Smile Bus, visited the Baan Pee Yam shop in Don Muang. They contributed 5,000 baht toward food ingredients and cooking equipment, and donated 18,000 spiced noodle snacks and 24,514 cakes worth a total of 467,832 baht. The foundation is supporting the Baan Pee Yam kitchen in distributing 800 boxed meals to flood victims and affected residents. Thapanee Iadsirichai, the shop owner, received the donation on behalf of those in need.
The foundation chair stated that the flooding has caused widespread hardship, making access to food and drinking water an urgent priority. Upon learning of the Baan Pee Yam kitchen initiative, the foundation immediately coordinated with private sector partners to mobilize aid quickly to those affected.
The foundation thanked all partners and supporters for their contributions, noting that many residents are still in need of assistance. The foundation and its network partners remain committed to continuing coordinated efforts to provide essential goods and support across multiple dimensions to help people overcome this crisis.
