Bangkok, September 28, 2026 – Charoen Pokphand Group (CP) continues its relief efforts for residents affected by severe flooding in Bangkok. Senior Vice President Supachai Chearavanont leads a team of senior executives, including Dr. Theeraphol Thanomsakdiyut, chairman of the sustainability management committee and strategic development for the group, Manus Manavuddivech, head of customer experience and retail business management at True Corporation, Chakrakrit Urairat, head of government relations at True Corporation, Siriporn Detchsing, executive chairman of sustainability and corporate communications at CP Extra, Kanicha Thanasunthakij, senior human resources executive at CP All, and Chompakitti Sirikul, deputy managing director overseeing sustainability development and government relations. The team worked with CP volunteer employees from across the conglomerate to pack 2,000 care packages at Macro Sathorn branch for distribution to flood-affected residents in Bangkok and surrounding areas. The group has also mobilized 100,000 bottles of drinking water and 300,000 eggs, along with mobile rapid-response units deployed to critical zones.
Supachai Chearavanont stated that CP began relief operations from the first day of the flooding, with all business units establishing war rooms to closely monitor the situation and assess community needs daily. "For the CP Volunteer Hundred Acts of Goodness initiative, we have mobilized volunteer employees from all business units to pack approximately 2,000 care packages and will continue operations according to real-time needs. We are coordinating with foundations, communities, and volunteer networks in Bangkok, suburban areas, and neighboring regions, particularly in areas where aid has not yet reached, to ensure assistance reaches those who truly need it," Supachai said.
Supachai emphasized that CP aims to deliver not just food, water, and essentials, but tangible moral support. "We understand that disaster victims are facing hardship, and we are committed to reaching everyone in need so that all can overcome this crisis together. We believe that mutual assistance and care are what enable society to move forward during crises." CP Group continues to monitor the situation closely and coordinate with government agencies, civil society, and volunteer networks to ensure relief reaches affected communities effectively and promptly.
