Severe flooding continues to paralyze Rama IV Road heading toward Srinakarin Road, with residents parking vehicles on an overpass to escape the rising water. On September 28, reporters surveying the flooded Rama IV to Srinakarin corridor found multiple zones with dangerously high water levels disrupting traffic. At the Rama IV–Srinakarin bridge intersection, numerous people left their cars, motorcycles, forklifts, and flatbed trucks parked on the structure and walked across on foot, fearing submersion damage if they attempted to drive through.
A truck driver named Jiew, traveling from Lam Luka, aided flood victims throughout his route and ferried displaced residents to safe areas. Jiew reported encountering suffering residents at multiple points along the way and did his best to assist where possible. The worst flooding on Rama IV Road was observed near the National Stadium, making passage extremely difficult.
Residents are advised to remain vigilant and avoid driving cars and motorcycles into high-water zones to prevent property damage and ensure travel safety.
