CP Group Launches Flood Relief Efforts Across Thailand
CP Group has launched a nationwide flood‑relief operation, delivering food, supplies and volunteer‑run kitchens to inundated areas. Led by senior executive Supachai Chearavanont, CP Volunteer teams handed out relief packs in Bangkok’s Lad Krabang district and to affected True Leasing employees. The initiative leverages the group’s food, retail, logistics and communications units to sustain aid through a coordinated War Room and partner network.
The CP Group set up a coordination centre, or War Room, to monitor the flood situation and mobilize resources from its subsidiaries, government agencies, private partners and local volunteers. Teams prepared relief packages, cooked meals and distributed goods to affected areas. The group also supported royal‑donated and central community kitchens in multiple locations, supplying chicken, eggs, ready‑to‑eat meals, bakery items, drinking water and cooking ingredients to volunteer‑run kitchens, the Ministry of Culture, the Lad Krabang major kitchen under the Ministry of Interior, the SJL shelter, the CP Ram–CP All central kitchen in front of NIDA, Red Cross mobile kitchens, the Make‑Good Foundation kitchen and the Nong Mu sub‑municipality canteen in Saraburi province. CPF contributed chicken, eggs, ready‑to‑eat food, water and raw materials for kitchens and sent staff to assist communities, while CP Axtra, through its Makro and Lotus stores, provided food, drinks, essential items and relief packs, using its store network as aid distribution points.
