Body of Unidentified Man Found Floating in Pasak River
An unidentified man's decomposed body was found caught under a boat dock in Ayutthaya's Pasak River, believed to have been in the water for 2–3 days. Police are working to identify him and locate relatives, with no foul play suspected.
An unidentified male body was discovered floating in the Pasak River near a restaurant dock. The body showed signs of advanced decomposition and was believed to have been in the water for approximately 2–3 days.
On September 28, Deputy Investigation Officer Witthawat On-eng of Ayutthaya City Police Station received a report of a dead man caught beneath a boat dock at a riverside restaurant near Suwan Daram Ratchaworavihar Temple Pier in Ho Ratanaichai subdistrict, Ayutthaya district, and proceeded to investigate with staff from the Buddha Thai Foundation.
At the scene, water levels in the Pasak River were high and flowing rapidly. Officers found the body of a man approximately 50 years old wearing a brown crew-neck shirt with cartoon, van, and mountain graphics printed on the back, and three-quarter-length denim pants. The corpse was in an advanced state of decomposition, consistent with death occurring 2–3 days prior.
Foundation staff used a motorboat to retrieve the body at the temple pier. Initial examination revealed no wounds indicative of foul play. No missing persons reports have been filed in the area. Authorities are coordinating with nearby jurisdictions to identify the man and locate his relatives.
