Minister Satchai Deploys Two Mobile Kitchens for Prachinburi Flood Relief
Natural Resources and Environment Minister Satchai Chommongkol has ordered two mobile field kitchens to provide meals for flood victims in Prachinburi province. The kitchens, staffed by park officials from several national parks, are preparing 3,000 meal boxes daily to relieve suffering. The ministry pledges to expand assistance as needed until the flood situation improves.
On October 1, 2026, Natural Resources and Environment Minister Satchai Chommongkol instructed the Department of National Parks, Wildlife and Plant Conservation, together with its nationwide units, to mobilize additional personnel to assist flood‑affected communities following continuous heavy rain. He ordered the deployment of mobile field kitchens capable of cooking fresh meals, along with staff, to distribute aid to affected provinces. National Park Chief Pipat Chimpli of Erawan National Park reported that at 05:00 a.m., two mobile field kitchens from the department, accompanied by officers — five from Erawan National Park, ten from Chaloem Rattanakosin National Park, and eight from Phu Phan Mountain National Park — set out from Erawan and Phu Phan parks toward Prachinburi Province. They prepared breakfast consisting of stir‑fried papaya with egg, packing 1,000 boxes to be delivered to flood‑affected residents at Camp Jakrapong in Prachinburi. The Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment said it will continue monitoring the water situation and assessing needs nationwide, ready to expand support — including personnel, mobile kitchens, and drinking water — to additional crisis points until the flood subsides, enabling residents to return to normal life as swiftly as possible.
