On 2 October, reporters said that after a crisis at Suvarnabhumi Airport, many passengers and tourists were affected due to over ten thousand pieces of stranded luggage, delayed flights, and subsequent cancellations caused by flooding that prevented ground staff from reporting to work. Thai Airways management announced the cancellation of several flights starting 28 September.
Recently, Thai Airways Public Company Limited has accelerated flight management and mobilized resources across all sectors to prepare for full service on 3 October 2026. For 2 October, the airline reduced nine flights to match its operational capacity.
The airline will open its ticket office at the company headquarters on Vibhavadi Rangsit Road on Saturday 3 and Sunday 4 October 2026 from 08:00 to 17:00 to provide an additional channel for passenger assistance.
