Wat Phai Luang (Luang Pho Sing) in Bang Yai District, Nonthaburi Province, invites Buddhists to participate in the Kathin Samakkhi ceremony for the year 2569 on October 31 at 1:16 PM at Wat Phai Luang, Soi Bang Yai Hospital. Under the concept "Three Great Merits Creating Life's Blessings," the event provides opportunities for the faithful to create merit in three areas: propagating Buddhism, maintaining the temple, and helping animals within the temple grounds.
The first great merit is jointly building a large Somdet Phra Phutthachan (To Phromrangsi) image to serve as a spiritual center for Buddhists and as part of preserving Buddhism. The second is joining in maintaining Wat Phai Luang, supporting Buddhist activities, repaying monastic debts, and developing the temple into a place for religious practice, meditation, and merit-making for the public. The third great merit is cultivating loving-kindness toward animal life by caring for cows, buffaloes, dogs, cats, goats, rabbits, geese, and ducks — providing them with food, shelter, and medical expenses so they receive proper care and live safely.
Participants can contribute according to their means, and the temple has prepared commemorative gifts including lion-stamped coins as mementos of their faith and good deeds on this occasion.
