Allianz Ayudhya Hosts Legacy Race for Over-50s
Allianz Ayudhya Life Insurance sponsored the LEGACY RACE, a hybrid fitness competition for 324 participants aged 50 to 69, at IMPACT Muang Thong Thani to promote healthy longevity and preventive healthcare. The event, held under the "WE ARE WARRIORS" theme, featured running combined with fitness stations and included a team of Allianz employees over 50 who used the race as motivation to adopt healthier lifestyles. Company executives emphasized that age should not limit personal goals and that consistent health habits are key to a vibrant later life.
Allianz Ayudhya Life Insurance is advancing preventive healthcare and healthy longevity by serving as the main sponsor of the "Allianz Ayudhya presents LEGACY RACE," a hybrid fitness race for participants aged 50 to 69 held at IMPACT Exhibition Hall 5 in Muang Thong Thani under the "WE ARE WARRIORS" concept. A total of 324 competitors challenged their potential through a race demanding strength, endurance, and determination. The event also gave Allianz Ayudhya employees over 50 a stage to prove their capabilities, with many using the competition as a catalyst to start exercising seriously, reflecting that personal change and health care can begin at any stage of life.
The race reflects a new perspective on living in an aging society, showcasing participants aged 50 to 69 ready to push their limits through a hybrid fitness race format that combines running with physical fitness testing stations, challenging power, stamina, and overall fitness amid an atmosphere of determination and encouragement. Each competitor had different goals and inspirations, but they shared a common resolve to prove that age need not limit new goals, potential development, or a strong, vibrant life, provided health is maintained and preparation is consistent.
Patchara Thawichaiwatana, Senior Executive Vice President of Customer Management and Sustainability at Allianz Ayudhya Life Insurance, stated: "The image of competitors aged 50 to 69 we see today clearly reflects that age is not a barrier to health care or challenging one's potential. What is impressive is not just physical strength but the determination, discipline, and intention to care for oneself to live life to its fullest potential, which is the core of the Healthy Longevity concept that Allianz Ayudhya has always emphasized."
"As Thai people live longer, we want everyone to look beyond mere longevity to a life that is healthy, happy, and able to continuously do what they love. Health care should not start when illness strikes but should be part of daily life — from exercise and nutrition to rest and building good health habits consistently — because good health today prepares us for a better quality of life tomorrow. This aligns with Allianz Ayudhya's role in committed to caring for customers' health and long-term financial security," said Patchara.
Another inspiring story from the event was the participation of Allianz Ayudhya employees over 50 as the Allianz Ayudhya Warriors. Not all were athletes or regular exercisers, but many decided to step out of their comfort zones, prepare seriously, and start exercising to prove they could overcome limits and achieve things they never thought possible. The race was more than conquering stations or crossing the finish line; it marked the beginning of behavioral health changes and an opportunity for employees to discover new potential within themselves while passing on inspiration.
