Over 21,000 Runners Collect Bibs at Pattaya Marathon 2026

The Amazing Thailand Pattaya Marathon 2026 presented by MAMA saw over 21,700 runners from 58 countries converging to collect their race bibs and equipment on Thursday, September 24. The organizing committee opened registration and equipment distribution at the multipurpose courtyard of Terminal 21 Pattaya, which hosted an expo with more than 70 participating vendors in a bustling atmosphere.

Racers of all distances crowded the registration area to collect their bibs and running gear. The committee received a weather warning from Thailand's Meteorological Department alerting participants to prepare for continuous rainfall throughout the day, and urged early arrival at Terminal 21 Pattaya to help reduce congestion should heavy rain occur. The committee confirmed the race will proceed as scheduled and urged runners and supporters to monitor updates via the Pattaya Marathon Facebook page and the competition's LINE group.

The 33rd edition of the Amazing Thailand Pattaya Marathon 2026 presented by MAMA features 21,727 participants plus an estimated 39,323 supporters, with organizers deploying 4,500 volunteers and local officials. The event is expected to generate over 288 million baht in direct and indirect tourism revenue. The race is divided into four distances: the full marathon (42.195 km) starting at 3:30 a.m. with 2,983 participants; the half marathon (21.1 km) at 5:10 a.m. on Sunday, September 27, with 7,780 participants; the 10 km race with 7,999 participants; and the 4.5 km family run with 2,965 participants. All races start and finish at Dolphin Roundabout on North Pattaya Road in front of Terminal 21 Pattaya, organized jointly by Pattaya City, Chachoengsao Province, Tourism Authority of Thailand, Sports Authority of Thailand, World Athletics, Chachoengsao Provincial Police, and Thailand Trail League.
