Residents were seen buying and storing food and other necessities, fearing that prolonged flooding could make it difficult for agencies to reach the affected areas and deliver supplies.
Some residents have been forced to leave their homes and sleep on a skywalk after floodwaters made it difficult to continue living inside their houses.
Several residents said they were stressed and worried about the situation but were trying to carry on with daily life. Some said they continued to stay positive because worrying would not change the situation and they still needed to find food and take care of themselves.
Several agencies have been providing assistance in Bang Kapi and Khlong Chan, particularly to residents who are unable to leave their homes or the affected areas, delivering essential supplies to those in need.
Several cars were also seen stranded along roads near a bridge after being affected by flooding, prompting people to take extra care when travelling through the area.
Residents continue to closely monitor the situation and hope water levels will fall soon so they can return to normal daily life and travel.
