Khlong Chan apartment complex remains severely flooded, with water levels reaching residents' chests and insufficient boats to evacuate people. Residents are calling for additional rescue boats. On September 28, 2569, floodwaters in the Khlong Chan residential area continue to cause major hardship, particularly at Building 29 where water reaches chest height, making entry and exit extremely difficult. Residents are gradually leaving to buy and stockpile food and essential supplies, relying on boats to escape the area.

Local residents report that the number of rescue boats is insufficient for the large number of people needing evacuation, with some waiting up to an hour for boat passage. They are calling for additional boats to meet the needs of those affected.

Residents also note that the water has begun to smell foul, as it has been stagnant since Friday with no drainage, forcing many to fend for themselves by stockpiling food and essentials due to concerns the flooding may not subside and provisions could run short.

While officials from various agencies have begun arriving to assist residents, they are unable to reach everyone comprehensively due to the large number of affected buildings and residents combined with the high water level, making rescue operations extremely difficult.
