On October 1, 2069, reporters said the Bangkok Community Help Foundation (BCHF) invited Thai and foreign residents of Bangkok to take part in helping flood victims and to pass assistance on to impacted communities. BCHF has been mobilizing the public, volunteers and supporters to provide food, drinking water, essential items and urgent relief, sending them to flooded areas while focusing on those in most need, regardless of race or nationality. During this flood crisis BCHF and its volunteer teams have worked in many parts of Bangkok, including Bang Kapi district, Saphan Sung district, Khlong Chan flats, Khlong Toey, Rom Klao housing estate and other affected communities, continuously monitoring conditions and assisting where help is still required. The effort stems from cooperation between Thais and foreigners, with more than 100 staff and volunteers engaged in sorting supplies, transport and on‑the‑ground aid. BCHF welcomes anyone who wishes to join the relief work.

The foundation was founded and is led by two foreigners, Friso Poldervaart and Greg Lange, who have lived in Thailand for more than 15‑20 years. Since its establishment in 2020 BCHF has provided social assistance in various forms across many areas. Project coordinator Sanisa Jirasenunaphan, nicknamed Fem, plays a key role in liaising with volunteers to ensure help reaches affected people quickly and matches local needs. Current operations include preparing and delivering hot meals, dry food and drinking water, evacuating people from flooded homes, arranging boats to reach inaccessible spots, and supporting transportation and logistics so aid arrives swiftly. Every contribution—whether cash, goods or volunteer time—matters, and anyone can become part of the chain of assistance.

BCHF invites Thai and foreign residents of Bangkok to join its efforts. Donations can be made via the foundation’s official account at Bangkok Bank, account number 105‑5‑06287‑9. For those wishing to donate dry food, cleaning equipment, drinking water, clothing and other necessities, items may be dropped off at Bangkok Community Help Foundation – Center of Dreams, 2/236 Soi Chumchon Lok 4‑5‑6, Khlong Toey, Bangkok 10110.
