Bangkok Police Deploy to Monitor Severe Flooding in Northern Areas

Police Commander Siam Bunyasom and senior officers surveyed five severely flooded zones in northern Bangkok on September 26 at 7 p.m., including Lat Phrao Intersection, Ratchayothin Intersection, Ngamwongwan Road, Chaeng Watthana Road, and Saphan Si intersection near Vibhavadi Police Station. The inspection lasted approximately two hours, with water levels remaining significantly high across the affected roadways. Police Chief Kittarat Punchet expressed concern about the flooding situation in Bangkok and has ordered police officers to monitor conditions and assist residents and motorists by providing route information, helping with disabled or stalled vehicles, and supporting those unable to leave their homes until the situation stabilizes.
