Chonburi — A big bike and a motorcycle collided violently, leaving both vehicles heavily damaged with wheels torn off. One rider suffered severe injuries while the other was found without vital signs; rescue workers performed CPR and rushed both to hospital.
October 26, 2026 — Panthong Police Station officers together with Sawang Uthayan Thammasathan rescue volunteers received a report of a motorcycle collision with serious injuries on the Ban Kao–Nong Tamlueng road in front of Tamod Company, Nong Tamlueng subdistrict, Panthong district, Chonburi province. They rushed to the scene to inspect and assist the injured.
At the scene they found a black 900cc Kawasaki big bike with Bangkok plates, its front end severely damaged and the front wheel detached. Nearby lay a Honda motorcycle with Amnat Charoen plates on its side.
Investigation revealed two male casualties. The first was 28-year-old Surint, driver of the big bike, who sustained severe injuries and initially showed no vital signs. Rescue workers immediately performed CPR in an attempt to revive him while coordinating with Panthong Hospital's emergency team for urgent assistance.
The second casualty, the driver of the Honda motorcycle, suffered serious injuries but remained conscious and able to communicate. Rescue workers provided first aid before transporting him to Panthong Hospital for medical treatment.
From questioning relatives of the big bike rider, it was learned that before the accident he had been traveling to help a friend move belongings, driving behind the friend. Upon hearing a loud noise, he turned back and found the injured man lying on the road. He suspected the big bike may have swerved and hit the other motorcycle before losing control and crashing into a private company's fence, prompting him to call for rescue.
However, the exact cause of the accident cannot yet be concluded. Police will examine CCTV footage, gather witness statements and evidence, and interview involved parties to determine the true cause and proceed with legal action.
