Bomb Attack on Volunteer Force Truck Kills 2, Wounds 16
A bomb and gun attack on a volunteer force truck in Narathiwat's Sukirin District killed two people and wounded 16 others, with security forces launching an investigation into the assault.
Two people have been killed and 16 others wounded in a bombing and gun attack on a truck carrying Sukirin District volunteers in Narathiwat Province. Assailants detonated an explosive device on a six-wheel volunteer force truck before opening fire in Village 2, Tambon Rom Thai, Sukirin District. Security forces immediately responded to the incident to provide assistance and secure the area. As of September 18, all 16 injured personnel have been taken to Sukhaikolok Hospital for treatment. Security agencies continue to control the scene and are conducting an ongoing investigation into the attack.
