On the night of October 15, two bomb attacks struck homes in Trang province. The first explosion occurred at 9:40 p.m. in a house in Moo 1, Phong Jang jat subdistrict, under Bang Nai Khuan Police Station. The homeowner reported hearing a loud bang like firecrackers 100–200 meters away; inspection showed damage to the fence from the blast, but no other property damage or injuries. This house had previously been hit by bombs twice, making this the third incident. The second blast took place at 12:52 a.m. on October 16 in a concrete single‑story house in Moo 10, Na Phra subdistrict, Mueang Trang district, under Trang City Police Station. The explosion shattered the garage roof, damaged the building, and harmed a parked car. The house is the residence of Mr. Wiriya (surname withheld), a suspect in an attempted‑murder case involving a bomb throw in Na Yoi district, Trang, who is currently in custody. At 10:00 a.m. forensic and bomb‑disposal units collected bomb fragments and related material as evidence, and also found a second unexploded device. Investigators believe the attacker approached on foot, threw a bomb that failed to detonate, then threw a second one that exploded. Police continue gathering evidence, examining the explosives, and investigating any connection between the two blasts while seeking to apprehend the perpetrator.
