Buriram Striker Buys Football Boots for Border Patrol Students
Buriram United striker Alexandre Tudorie bought new football boots for Border Patrol Police school students attending a clinic at the club's training ground after noticing they were practicing in scout shoes. The player, known as 'P' Alex,' gave money to teachers to purchase the studs, sharing that he also grew up without proper football footwear. The heartwarming gesture brought tears to teachers and organizers, and the students will receive their new boots soon.
A heartwarming story has gone viral online after the Border Patrol Police Facebook page shared a touching incident at the training ground of Buriram United, the "Thunder Castle." A foreign player for the team noticed Border Patrol Police school students wearing scout shoes during a football clinic and approached their teacher, handing over money to buy new football studs for the children. He explained that he also never had proper football boots as a child and now that he could help, he wanted the kids to have good boots.
Media reports say the Facebook page "222nd Border Patrol Police Company" posted photos and details of the event, which took place during a football clinic organized by AIS Sport Academy together with Buriram United. The clinic gave students from Border Patrol Police schools the chance to experience training at a top-tier club's facility.
The page wrote: "Today a Buriram player made the teachers almost cry... while the kids were training in scout shoes, a Buriram player training nearby saw them, ran over to the teacher, said he wanted to buy football studs for the kids, gave the teacher money to buy them, and said when he was young he also never had football boots like everyone else. Today he can help, so he wants the kids to have good football boots to wear."
The player was later identified as "P' Alex," or Alexandre Tudorie, a striker for Buriram United. The teacher who posted added: "Listening made the teachers and AIS staff almost cry. We later found out his name is Alex, and when he saw the kids' happy smiles, P' Alex teared up too."
At the end, the page thanked AIS Sport Academy and Buriram United for inviting the border children to broaden their horizons, saying they returned with great stories to tell their friends, and promised to quickly take the kids to buy new boots and show everyone the photos.
