Businessman Doubles Olympic Bonus for Thai Women's Volleyball

Businessman Pichaya Potharamic doubled his bonus to Thailand's women's volleyball team to 10 million baht, rewarding their historic qualification for the 2028 Los Angeles Olympics after winning the Asian championship.

Pichaya Potharamic, major shareholder of JAS and MONO, presented an increased financial package of 10 million baht to Thailand's national women's volleyball team at a ceremony held at Mono Stadium on Chaiyapruek Road. The bonus was doubled from the original 5 million baht as encouragement following the team's historic qualification for the 2028 Los Angeles Olympics. The qualification came after winning the 2026 Asian Women's Volleyball Championship and securing a quota for the 2027 World Volleyball Championship.

Pichaya reaffirmed his commitment to continue supporting the Thai women's volleyball team as they pursue excellence on the global stage. He emphasized that this success represents not only a milestone for Thai volleyball but also a source of national pride. The team now prepares for their upcoming test at the 2028 Olympic Games.
