Cabinet Reshuffles Labor Ministry Leadership Posts
The Cabinet has appointed Kanjana Poolkaew as director-general of the Department of Social Welfare and Worker Protection, with Jeerapa Bunrat taking over her previous role at the Social Security Office, both positions effective October 1.
The Cabinet has approved the appointment of two senior civil service officials, announced by Deputy Government Spokesperson Lalida Phorichvivat at the Government House on September 8. Kanjana Poolkaew will move from secretary-general of the Social Security Office to become director-general of the Department of Social Welfare and Worker Protection, while Jeerapa Bunrat, currently an inspector at the Ministry of Labour, will replace her as secretary-general of the Social Security Office. Both appointments take effect on October 1 and have been approved by Deputy Prime Minister Yotchannan Wongsawat, filling positions vacated by retirement or transfer.
