CCTV Reveals Night of Incident: Man Kills Escort Girlfriend After Public Slap in Restaurant
CCTV footage captured a man slapping his escort girlfriend in a Nonthaburi restaurant on May 12 after discovering she had met another man; he later killed her in a fatal beating the same night.
Security camera footage from May 14, 2569 captured the incident at a restaurant on Bangkhrua-Thaimai Road in Bang Ruk Pattana Subdistrict, Bang Bua Thong District, Nonthaburi Province on May 12 at 11:22 PM. The victim arrived to eat and drink with the suspect and two friends. When the two companions went to the restroom, the victim was left alone. The suspect then walked back to the table and forcefully slapped the victim's face once, grabbed her purse, and left the restaurant.
According to Ting (pseudonym), a 26-year-old server who witnessed the incident, the four people arrived around 10:00 PM. The server suspected the suspect was already intoxicated when he arrived. When the incident occurred, the two friends were in the restroom while the suspect and victim had a verbal argument before he left. He soon returned, slapped the victim, took her purse, and crossed the street to his parked car. The victim called a taxi home, and the aunt called another taxi separately.
According to Winai's confession, he became angry upon discovering that Joy had secretly checked into a hotel with another man, causing him to beat and kick her repeatedly. When he woke up the next morning, he found her dead. He then placed her body in his car and drove to Bang Bua Thong Police Station to surrender, claiming rage as his motive.
