Chanthaburi Food Festival Brings 40 Vendors to Bangkok
Over 40 Chanthaburi food vendors showcase authentic regional cuisine at Central Plaza Pinklao from September 12–16, with daily concerts and activities aimed at boosting local producers and tourism.
The Chanthaburi Chamber of Commerce has opened the Chanthaburi Food Festival, part of the Chanthaburi Creative City of Gastronomy initiative, running September 12–16, 2025 at Central Plaza Pinklao's promotional court. The event showcases over 40 local food vendors and entrepreneurs presenting authentic regional recipes, with Deputy Governor Charuny Kaween presiding over the opening ceremony alongside government and private sector representatives.
Vendors are offering a wide range of traditional Chanthaburi fare—savory dishes, sweets, snacks, beverages, and processed goods—under the theme "Taste the tools, serve from Chanthaburi, deliver to the city." In addition to the food, the five-day festival features daily mini-concerts from well-known artists, stage performances, interactive activities, and special prize draws throughout the day.
The Chamber aims to create market opportunities for local food producers, raise product value, and promote Chanthaburi's culinary heritage and food culture regionally and internationally. The effort is expected to stimulate tourism revenue and generate sustainable income for the community. The public is invited to sample authentic recipes from over 40 vendors, enjoy mini-concerts, and participate in prize-winning activities from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. daily at Central Plaza Pinklao.
