Concert Ticket Scanned Without Owner Present

A man traveling from Chaiyaphum province to see the Asni-Wasant concert arrived at the venue around 10 p.m. on September 9 to find his ticket had already been scanned, despite keeping the physical ticket with him throughout his four-hour drive. Theerawut, the ticket owner, explained that he had originally purchased the ticket for September 2, but the venue had problems, so he attended on September 9 instead and successfully entered on the original date. When he tried to scan his ticket on September 9, staff informed him it had already been scanned, which puzzled him since he was in Chaiyaphum when the scan supposedly occurred and still had the genuine ticket in his possession.

Theerawut asked his family members who were already inside to check his assigned seat, and they confirmed it was empty with no one sitting there. After nearly 30 minutes of staff investigating and checking with relevant departments, officials confirmed the ticket had a previous scan record but could not provide clear details about when or where it was scanned. Eventually, Theerawut was allowed to enter, but the concert was nearly over by that time.

Theerawut stated that his main concern was not missing the show, since he knew he arrived late, but rather understanding how his ticket could be registered as scanned when he held the physical ticket the entire time and never transferred it to anyone else. He emphasized that a regular concert-goer like himself had never encountered such an issue before and urged event organizers to investigate their ticketing system and entry procedures to prevent similar problems for other attendees in the future.
