Couple Donates Nine Truckloads of Fruit After Prayer Answered
A Pathum Thani couple donated nine truckloads of fruit at a temple in Chachoengsao to repay a prayer they say helped their beauty business flourish beyond expectations.
At Samarn Rattanaram Temple in Chachoengsao on September 14, large crowds gathered to receive fruit from a merit-making ceremony. A couple from Pathum Thani province, aged 37 and 35, owners of a beauty business, arrived with nine truckloads of pomelo, pineapple, coconut, and watermelon to distribute to more than 500 people.
The 37-year-old woman explained that four years earlier she had prayed at the reclining Ganesha statue for land to build her beauty salon and for business success. After her business exceeded all expectations, with property and construction valued at over seven figures, she returned to fulfill her vow. She brought the fruit-laden trucks to conduct the merit-making ceremony and distribute them to the waiting crowds, creating a lively atmosphere at the temple.
After the ceremony, she burned incense to divine lucky lottery numbers. Many lottery enthusiasts who came for fruit gathered eagerly to observe the incense smoke, with several people hoping to use the number 972 in the upcoming draw. The activity brought a festive and bustling energy to the temple grounds.
