Deputy PM Pakorns Asset Disclosure Shows 57 Million Baht, No Debts
Deputy PM Pakorn Nilepreepan declared combined assets of 57.4 million baht with his wife upon taking office in April, with no debts reported to the National Anti-Corruption Commission.
On August 19, the National Anti-Corruption Commission disclosed the asset and liability statement of Deputy Prime Minister Pakorn Nilepreepan, filed when he assumed office in the Srettha government on April 6, 2025. Pakorn and his wife Somaprp reported combined assets of 57.4 million baht, with Pakorn holding 40.7 million baht and his wife 16.8 million baht. They declared zero liabilities.
Pakorn's assets include bank deposits and foreign currency holdings such as US dollars, euros, yen, and Singapore dollars valued at 14.2 million baht. He holds investments in bank mutual funds and corporate bonds from Thai Cement and SCG Packaging worth 6.6 million baht. He owns two land plots in Bangkok's Taling Chan district valued at 2 million baht.
His real estate comprises two two-story residential houses totaling 4 million baht—one for himself and one for his mother, each valued at 2 million baht. He owns one vehicle, a Toyota Yaris worth 360,000 baht. His civil service pension fund holds 4.6 million baht.
Other assets totaling 8.9 million baht include 60 baht weight of gold and 33 ounces of gold bullion, three watches, approximately 40 pieces of jewelry including diamond rings and pearls, roughly 1,200 religious amulets and Buddha statues, and approximately 200 collectible and vintage coins.
Pakorn reported annual income of 2.17 million baht from salary, position allowance, and meeting fees, plus interest and dividends. His annual expenses total 2.83 million baht.
