TTB Launches E-Donation Platform for Transparent Online Giving
Thai bank TTB launched Punboon, an e-donation platform enabling charities and donors to give transparently while claiming tax benefits through an integrated system connected to the Revenue Department.
TTB's Punboon platform is upgrading its online donation services with a comprehensive fundraising and donation management solution designed to help foundations and charities accept contributions more easily, transparently, and verifiably. The platform supports Thailand's transition to electronic donations (e-Donation) and has hosted a seminar titled "Punboon by TTB: Raising Donations to New Heights of Transparency and Sustainability" in collaboration with the Revenue Department, Education Equity Fund, The Voice Foundation, and ZenityX AI Studio to discuss developing Thailand's charitable giving ecosystem.
Kanokporn Chuta, head of TTB's business products division, stated that Thai donation behavior is increasingly shifting to digital channels, with donors prioritizing convenience, speed, transparency, and verifiability. Charities and non-profit organizations must adapt their data management and donor communication practices, and Punboon aims to remove these barriers by offering an integrated system that connects the entire donation process—from receiving donations through data management to supporting upload into the Revenue Department's e-Donation system.
The platform is also launching a corporate tax deduction feature to help businesses donate and claim tax benefits, with availability scheduled for September 2025. Corporate donors can submit donation information via punboon.org/report, and the system will forward data to charities and non-profit organizations for recording in the Revenue Department's e-Donation system. Over the past eight years, Punboon has earned the trust of more than 700 non-profit organizations, with over 1 million donors contributing a combined total exceeding 1.3 billion baht, and continues developing digital tools to create a convenient, transparent, and sustainable giving ecosystem.
