At 4 p.m. on September 18, Sutsisan Police received a report from a man (name withheld) regarding his son, a ninth-grade student, who was riding a motorcycle with Bangkok license plate 8KT-3238 near Thong Chok Thawi shopping center on Sutsisan Road in Dindeang district. The boy encountered a man later identified as Phanuwat Sirichai, known online as influencer Meng Pakdam, who was pushing a motorcycle by the roadside. When the student stopped to ask, the man claimed his chain had broken. However, Meng then kicked the student and jumped onto the motorcycle, claiming he needed to borrow it to extinguish a fire. He subsequently abandoned the bike, leaving it damaged, and fled. The father called police.
Police tracked down the suspect near Inthamara Soi 41, where he was found acting erratically and walking in the middle of the road. He surrendered without resistance when officers approached. Meng Pakdam is a well-known influencer recognized for content about prison life. Officers conducted a urine drug test, which returned positive results. Investigation revealed he had an outstanding arrest warrant from Khlong Toei Criminal Court for unlawful possession of methamphetamine (Category 2 drug). He is currently being held for questioning at Sutsisan Police Station and will be remanded to Khlong Toei Criminal Court tomorrow.
