Influencer Arrested After Attempted Motorcycle Theft from Student

Social media page Taladlangnews reported on September 18 that Meng Pakdam, a well-known influencer who frequently posts about prison life, has been arrested by police. The page claimed Meng attempted to steal a motorcycle from a 16-year-old student by pretending to ask to borrow it, then kicked the bike when refused. Witnesses called police to Inthamaraj Soi 41, where Meng was seen pacing in the street. When Sutthisan Police arrived, Meng calmly walked onto the sidewalk and sat down for arrest before being taken to the station for questioning. Later, Del Muang Non posted a clarification stating that the motorcycle belonged to Meng and had broken down while he was helping the student. Meng became angry and pushed the student, not attempted theft as initially reported.
