Legendary Captain Kiff Supports Thai Volleyball at Asian Games
Volleyball legend Captain Kiff shifts behind the scenes to manage logistics and supplies for Thailand's men's and women's teams competing at the Asian Games.
Captain Kiff Wilawaun Aphinyapong, one of Thailand's legendary seven volleyball icons, is stepping into a supply and logistics role to fully support both the men's and women's national volleyball teams at the Asian Games. The former captain of Thailand's national women's volleyball team, who earned lasting glory for the country, has now transitioned to working behind the scenes with the Thai Volleyball Association. In a recent Facebook post, Captain Kiff outlined her responsibilities in the supply department—managing food, drinks, training grounds, and accommodations—noting that the men's team is in residential training camp and needs regular meals, while the women's team competes in evening matches requiring travel and authentic Thai food. She expressed gratitude to the Volleyball Association leadership, to coordinator Kittha Sang who manages the men's team in Nagoya, to all team sponsors, and finally to herself for always enjoying the work regardless of her role.
