At 10:00 PM on November 6, 2026, officers from Mueang Chonburi Police Station, along with Thammaratmani Rat Rescue volunteers and firefighters from Nong Khangkhok Subdistrict Administrative Organization, responded to a house fire in Moo 4, Nong Khangkhok Subdistrict, Mueang District, Chonburi Province.
Upon arrival, they found flames fiercely engulfing the residence, lighting up the entire area. Firefighters urgently sprayed water to contain the blaze and prevent it from spreading to nearby properties. After approximately 30 minutes, the fire was brought under control, but the house was completely destroyed.
Neighbors revealed the home belonged to a couple who sell secondhand clothes at a flea market. Both were away at the market when the fire broke out. After noticing flames inside the house, neighbors called the fire department and phoned the owners to rush back.
Mr. Thanes, the homeowner, arrived to find his house reduced to charred ruins and nearly collapsed from shock. He tearfully explained that he and his wife earn their living selling secondhand clothes at the flea market to support their family. They had gone to sell as usual with no one home when neighbors called about the fire. He never expected the blaze to be so severe as to destroy the entire house. The cause of the fire remains unknown to him.
