On July 23, Chachoengsao police received a report of a gunfire dispute resulting in injuries near the Bang Kla Highway Police service unit in Tha Thong Luang subdistrict. Officers found Sergeant Yutthapong shot multiple times with a 9mm handgun in the chest, left arm, and hip, with bullets lodged in his body.
