Geno Finishes Tied 10th at Evian Championship
World No. 2 golfer Geno Atthaya Thitikul finished tied 10th at the Evian Championship in France, carding an 11-under par total as South Korea's Ryu Hae-ran won the major tournament in a playoff.
Thai professional golfer Geno Atthaya Thitikul, ranked world No. 2, finished tied 10th at the Evian Championship after carding one more under-par round on the final day. The fourth major women's golf tournament of 2026, the Evian Championship, featured a prize pool of $9.1 million, or approximately 300.3 million baht, and took place at Evian Resort Golf Club in Évian-les-Bains, France on July 12. After three rounds, Geno held a share of 10th place, and on the final day she added another under-par score to finish with a total of 11-under par, 273 strokes, remaining tied for 10th. The championship was won by South Korean professional Ryu Hae-ran, who defeated Canadian professional Brook Henderson in a playoff after both finished at 19-under par. Other Thai players' results included Ariya Jutanugarn in tied 16th place at 8-under par (276), Patty Tavatanakit in tied 26th at 6-under par (278), Patcharee Anannarukarn in tied 35th at 5-under par (279), and Apinya Yubol in tied 41st at 4-under par (280).
