Gold prices fell 550 baht per baht weight on September 11, with ornamental gold trading at 69,350 baht as traders predict a potential rebound to 80,000 baht the following day.
The Gold Traders Association announced that gold prices fell sharply on September 11, 2026, compared to the previous day's close. Ornamental gold was selling at 69,350 baht per baht weight, down 550 baht from September 10's closing rate of 68,800 baht per baht weight, according to the latest data released by the Gold Traders Association at 9:10 a.m. Gold bars were trading at a buying price of 67,800 baht per baht weight and a selling price of 68,000 baht per baht weight. For ornamental gold at 96.5% purity, the buying price was 66,446.28 baht per baht weight and the selling price was 68,800 baht per baht weight. The international gold spot price stood at 4,395 U.S. dollars per ounce. A gold traders association leader predicted that the market would open the next day with gold prices potentially rising by 1,000 to 2,000 baht per baht weight and possibly breaking through the 80,000 baht level.
