The Department of Disaster Prevention and Mitigation (DDP) and the Government Savings Bank have transferred flood relief payments to 3,483 households, totaling 29,499,000 baht, as of October 9, 2026. The assistance includes 9,000 baht per household in seven provinces—Bangkok, Ang Thong, Nakhon Ratchasima, Phrae, Mae Hong Son, Suphan Buri, and Phuket—covering 3,021 households, and 5,000 baht per household in three provinces—Bangkok, Ang Thong, and Suphan Buri—covering 462 households. In addition, compensation of 2,000,000 baht each has been paid to the families of five flood victims, totaling 10,000,000 baht (two in Nan, and one each in Mae Hong Son, Sakon Nakhon, and Uttaradit). The DDP urged provinces and local administrations to inform the public to link their PromptPay accounts with their national ID numbers, and to contact any bank promptly if they have not done so, to avoid delays in future assistance.
