Ministry Appoints 11 Provincial Natural Resources Directors Across Thailand

The Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment has appointed 11 new directors to lead provincial natural resources and environment offices across Thailand, filling vacancies left by retirements and transfers. The Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment appointed 11 directors of provincial natural resources and environment offices to fill vacancies and retirements, covering major provinces such as Ubon Ratchathani, Tak, Nakhon Ratchasima, Phitsanulok and Ayutthaya. The appointments are: 1. Ms. Kanya To-waai, environmental academic at the Yala Natural Resources and Environment Office, appointed director of the Yala office. 2. Mr. Thotsaporn Mayman, senior forestry officer from the Ang Thong Natural Resources and Environment Office, appointed director of the Ubon Ratchathani office. 3. Mr. Nagon Kaewmor, senior forestry officer from Chiang Mai’s Conservation Area Office 16, appointed director of the Tak office. 4. Lieutenant Rangsakhun Khunwiset, senior forestry academic specializing in watershed conservation from the Department of National Parks, appointed director of the Nakhon Ratchasima office. 5. Mr. Thani Wongnak, senior forestry academic from Khon Kaen’s Conservation Area Office 8, appointed director of the Bueng Kan office. 6. Mr. Sutin Phonplat, senior forestry academic from Khon Kaen’s Conservation Area Office 8, appointed director of the Phitsanulok office. 7. Mr. Werawat Wiengthong, senior forestry officer from Tak’s Forest Management Office 4, appointed director of the Ayutthaya office. 8. Mr. Sombun Chamaup, senior forestry academic from the Forest Research and Development Office, appointed director of the Phetchabun office. 9. Mr. Somtrong Butprom, senior forestry officer from Chiang Mai’s Forest Management Office 1, appointed director of the Phayao office. 10. Ms. Charunee Charayalak, policy and plan analyst from the Groundwater Resources Department, appointed director of the Nakhon Nayok office. 11. Mr. Techawattan Phongsomphong, senior environmental academic from the Natural Resources and Environment Policy and Planning Office, appointed director of the Samut Songkhram office. These appointments promote officials from level 8 to level 9, replacing those who have retired or been transferred to other departments.
