Deputy Metropolitan Police Bureau Commander Kampol Rattanaprateep said authorities had been notified by local officials and confirmed the jet ski rider had left the area. He stated that police would continue assisting flood-affected residents while investigating the incident.
Maksasan Police Station Chief Uramphorn Khundechsamrit said officers would review CCTV footage along relevant routes and locations to track down the jet ski rider for questioning. If the investigation finds evidence of wrongdoing, legal action will be taken. Police say they have identified the rider and all related parties, and the individual has agreed to come in for questioning this evening.
