Kanchai Exposes Three Accounts in Bum Foundation Fraud Probe
Whistleblower Kanchai revealed on a news program that the Bum Panadda foundation fraud case involves three donation accounts, over two million transfers from 90,000 donors, and an estimated 600-800 million baht in misused funds. He described Phuket pool villas as just the tip of the iceberg, with police conducting a terrifyingly thorough investigation tracing every transaction. Kanchai also denied any navy involvement and urged Bum to confess fully to mitigate legal consequences.
Not just two, but three accounts! Kanchai reveals he saw the money trail in the Bum Panadda case and was stunned. The Phuket pool villas are merely the tip of the iceberg — what lies beneath is massive. The figure is 600-800 million baht. Police are scrutinizing everything in frightening detail, urging Bum to come clean — and the alleged navy link doesn't exist.
On November 4, Kanchai phoned into the 'Kamakorn Khao Nok Cho' program and discussed the financial trail in the Bum Panadda case. He said the foundation received public donations through three accounts, with more than two million transfers from over 90,000 accounts, many donating repeatedly. The smallest transfer was just 19 baht.
Kanchai described the Phuket pool villas as 'just the tip of the iceberg poking out of the water — what's underwater is far greater.' When asked about additional money trails, he replied: 'I know a bit, but let the police speak. What's been talked about in Phuket for two weeks is only the surface. Once police dig deeper, it's much bigger.'
On the police's thoroughness: 'Terrifying. The Central Investigation Bureau works in a truly frightening way. They trace every baht — where it went, to whom, how much each person got, and what's left in the accounts now.' Asked if they know about gold and luxury bag purchases: 'They have to know.'
Did foundation money go to personal use? 'Exactly.' Life insurance, children's tuition? 'Better let the police speak.'
Kanchai disclosed the 600-800 million baht figure, urging Bum to tell the truth. When asked about the 800 million: 'The known amount is over 600-800 million.' Money not used for foundation purposes? 'Let the police speak.' Must it be land assets? 'Hard for me to say — let the police talk, or they'll arrest me for revealing secrets.'
Kanchai also stated: 'The navy doesn't exist in this. The claim that money went to the navy, that the navy is Bum's backer — it's not true. I asked the CIA commander myself. He said there's nothing. He sat at a press conference with the navy; media asked about Bum, and he said they were just being considerate of the navy officers present. Media misunderstood this as Bum having financial ties to the navy. It's unrelated.'
He urged Bum: 'Come out and tell the whole truth. The truth protects you. Whatever happened, whether mistake or intent, admitting facts can mitigate the situation. Better than fighting. Most importantly, tell your lawyers everything — they need to know how to defend you. When the day comes, if your lawyers don't know the full truth, you'll be in deeper trouble.'

Kanchai met Police General Pongsathorn after the interview; his attitude shifted — 'palm became sole of foot.' He believes the truth will surface soon.
