At 7:20 p.m. on September 9, 2026, the King and Queen traveled by royal motorcade to attend the ballet performance Romeo and Juliet, performed by the Bolshoi Theatre of Belarus, the national ballet company of Belarus. The performance was part of the 28th International Arts, Performance, and Music Festival Bangkok, held at the Main Hall of the Thailand Cultural Centre in Bangkok's Huai Khwang district to celebrate the Queen's fourth cycle birthday.
Upon their arrival, Deputy Minister of Culture Prasop Riengngen and Jaspal Singh Uberoai, Chairman of International Cultural Promotion Company Limited and head of the festival organizing committee, along with committee members, greeted the royal guests. The King and Queen then entered the Main Hall. Tourism Authority of Thailand Governor Thapanee Kiarti Paibuuly and Razina Uberoai, Director of International Cultural Promotion Company Limited, presented flowers to the King and Queen, who were presented with commemorative bouquets.
The festival chairman reported on the purpose of the ballet performance, and the King and Queen proceeded to watch all three acts of Romeo and Juliet, which tells the tragic story of love, conflict, and an inevitable conclusion. Following the performance, royal gifts were presented to the performers and speakers. The King and Queen then departed the venue and returned by motorcade.

The choreography was designed by Valentin Elizariev, a People's Artist of the Soviet Union.
