Kiyamran Defeats Nontachai on Points in Muay Thai Bout
Russian heavyweight Kiyamran Nabati defeated Thai striker Nontachai Jitmueangnanon on points in a Muay Thai bout at Lumpinee Stadium on Friday, extending his winning streak in the bantamweight division.
Kiyamran Nabati, a heavyweight boxer from Russia returning to form, faced Nontachai Jitmueangnanon, an aggressive striker from Chumphon, seeking his fourth consecutive victory under Muay Thai rules in the bantamweight division (135-145 lbs) at Lumpinee Stadium on Friday, September 18, 2026.
The two fighters were originally scheduled to meet at ONE Fight Night 46: Stella vs Natalie in August, but Nontachai withdrew due to sudden illness. Kiyamran also failed to pass the weight and hydration checks within the required timeframe, leading to the fight's cancellation.
Kiyamran started aggressively and pressured Nontachai from the opening round, causing cuts and injuries early. Nontachai came close to being knocked down but managed to survive the first round. Throughout the second and third rounds, Kiyamran continued to push for a knockout, but Nontachai persevered. After three rounds, the referee raised Kiyamran's hand in victory on points.
Following his win, Kiyamran immediately called out Yordtachai Pimolsri for a rematch.
