On October 9, 2026, Korn Chai arrived at the DSI headquarters to give testimony as a witness after receiving a summons. He explained that he had previously postponed the appearance due to work commitments but was now available. Korn Chai said he had donated several times to the foundation, including a 1 million baht transfer to a personal account during the 2024 flood relief effort, a 500,000 baht donation after the foundation was officially established, and smaller contributions such as 30,000 baht. He stated that the donations were made out of trust and a desire to help those in need, and he never asked how the money was spent. Korn Chai also mentioned that he had contributed to other foundations, including those of Dr. Pnadda Wongsuwat and Eijan, and that he always intended the funds to reach disadvantaged people. He said he would await the DSI's questions before providing further details.
